He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Penick and Mattie Penick; and his brother John Penick. He is survived by: his wife Lynn; and his children, Bobbie Graham (Nate), Scott Penick (Alyssa) and Theresa Penick. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four siblings.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations that will go toward the Pennsylvania Railroad T1 Steam Locomotive Trust, an engine construction project Dan was passionate about.
