He is survived by: his children, Jason Lavender (Heidi) and Kimlin Ackerson; his grandchildren, Jaden, Gage, Kaleb and Gracie; and his siblings, Donna Marie Lavender Beaver, Paul Norman Lavender (Cathy) and John Mark Lavender.

“I am so sorry for your loss. I know he loved y'all so much and talked about all of you . I pray you all find peace knowing he is in heaven. He was tired and ready to go. He told me when he passed he would send his spirit to me and he did. Friday April 5th. I knew he was going. . Praise the Lord for such a dear loving person. I knew him when he was so happy .
