He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Betzen and Rosina Staab; and his brother Alan Staab. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Betzen; his children, Lisa Reiter, Curtis Betzen (Amely) and John Betzen (Shelley); and his siblings, Wayne Staab and Sheryl Markwell (Jon). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
