He is survived by: his daughters, Rebekah Piland and Jennifer Montgomery (Cevin); his stepson Michael Stephens (Jamie); his father James W Piland; his siblings, Jami Dominguez (Tony), Matthew Piland, Lois E Piland and Andrew Piland (Debra); and his pets, Pixie and Brickell. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family.
Memorial donations may be made to Beauties and Beast 11th hour rescue of Wichita, Kansas in honor of the love David had for all animals.
