She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Diederich and Edith Leona Diederich; her husband Bernard Wurtz; her brothers, Don and Willis; and her grandson Justin Kahler.

She is survived by: her children, Bernadette Fetterolf (Don), Debbie Kimble (Ralph), Lori Stewart, Dawn Chastain (Randy) and Matthew Wurtz. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
