He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth Barger and Josephine Barger; and his siblings, Larry Barger and Sheryl Barger. He is survived by : his wife Rajean Barger; his children, Kyle Barger (Brenda), Scott Barger (Brenda), Dawn Strefling (Mike) and Dana Mitchell (Morgan); his grandchildren, Courtney (Blake), Brennan (Nikki), Caroline, Kate, Max, Jack, Luke, Jeffrey, Maggie, Trey, Ezra and Shelby; and his great grandchildren, Brody, Emersyn and Addalyn.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery (6231 W 47th St S, Wichita, KS 67215).
