With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna D. Elson of Wichita, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 1, 2025 at the age of 70. Though Donna may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry DeLanty and Edith Conley (Root). She is survived by: her husband James Elson; her son Steven Elson (Christin); her grandchildren, Brody and Emily Elson; and her siblings, Debra Koch (Greg), Terry DeLanty (Janet) and Denise Harris (Bart). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Resthaven Mortuary (11800 US-54, Wichita, KS 67209). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ascension Lutheran Church (842 N Tyler Rd, Wichita, KS 67212).
