He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Berkowitz and Sylvia Berkowitz; and his stepsons, Joseph and Matthew Paxton. He is survived by: his wife Marleta Berkowitz (Kitterman); his daughter Donna Berkowitz of Wichita; and his brother Barry Berkowitz (Linda) of Virginia.

Memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers, T2T.org, in lieu of flowers.
