He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lee and Norma Jean Ashley; his daughter Norma Jean Ashley; and his brother Jerry Ashley. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Ashley of Wichita, Kansas; his children, Daniel Lynn Ashley of Elk Grove, Larry Stephenson (Tammy) of Goddard, Tim Jacobs (Debbie) of Wichita, Kansas and Stacey Iaccarino (Richard) of Long Island; and his siblings, Gayelynn Ashley, Vivian Littlejohn (Tim) and Lyle Rhoades (Debbie). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with: Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, Kansas 67219. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Douglas Ashley 's name.
