He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Edmond and Elizabeth Ellen Kennedy; his wife Gloria May Kennedy; and his siblings, Bill Kennedy, Larry Kennedy, Helen Rush, Ada Marie Heenan, Paul Joseph Kennedy, Cora Lou Kennedy, Jolene Stringer and Dick Kennedy.

He is survived by: his children, Nick Kennedy (Cindy), Becky Rhoades (Doren) and Lori Marshall (David); his grandchildren, Lachelle Peterson (Kevin), Crystal Clupny (Nick), Kelsi Hay (Brandon), Megan Curts (Josh), Drew Rhoades (Lauren), Kara Newell (Chris), Nicki Mandery (Brent), Casey Lager (Chad), Holly Marshall and Brent Marshall; and his siblings, Dorothy Cartwright of Humbolt, KS, Mary Kay Schooler of Seneca, MO, Kenny Kennedy, Jack Kennedy of Bella Vista, AR, Carolyn Robinson of Tucson, AZ, Frank Kennedy of Bella Vista, AR and Sharon Woolf of Cape Coral, FL.. He is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren.
