She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias Knotts and Edna Knotts; and her siblings, George Knotts and Anita Fleagle. She is survived by: her husband Norman Hedges; her sister Ruth Shupe; her children, Lynda Burt of Council Grove, KS, Connie Pryor (Sam), Susan Richardson (Kent) and Jim Burt of Nixa, MO; and her stepsons, Roger Hedges (Pam) and Allen Hedges (Becky). She is also survived by Eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A lover of animals, she requested donations be made in her name to the Kansas Humane Society.
