She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kathman and Anna Mertens Kathman; her siblings, Rich Kathman, Bill Mertens, Viola Henning, Emma Adelhardt, Judy Tiemeyer, Rose Adelhardt, Edna Schneweis and Ann Seal; her great grandchild Elijah Johnson; and her son-in-law Tom Lahey.

She is survived by: her children, Dean (Debra), Jerry, Steve (Donna), Kenny (Terri), Cheryl Swinney, Catherine Brewer, Karen Lahey, Linda Simon and Sherry Simon; and her sisters, Jane Ward and Kathy Reiter. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
