He was predeceased by: his parents, Barnabas and Dixson of Tennessee; his wife Catherine Tucker; his son Donny Lee Washington; and his siblings, Leonard, Barnabas, Isaiah, Jimmy, William Lee, Rosie, Geneva, Ola, Ruth, Molly, Johnnie Mae, Cosetta and Betty.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Slades of North Carolina, Beverly Denise Bell (Morris) of Raytown, MO, Kelly Tucker-Moody of Bloomington, MN, Nellie Woods of Wichita, Margaret Peach (Chris) of Wichita, Shirley Givens (Reuben) of Wichita, Gerald "Jewel" Hall of Wichita, Kathy Williams (Stephen) of Wichita, Marsha Givens (Earl) of Hutchinson and Willie Washington of Wichita; and his sister Esther Blount of Tulsa, OK.
