It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Gene McCarty of Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on April 13, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley W. McCarty and Latha McCarty (McMichael). He is survived by: his wife Deanne Smith; his children, Darin T. McCarty (Melissa) of Wichita and Kelli R. Siefkes (Mark) of Overland Park; his sister Carol Annis of Ulysses, KS; and his grandsons, Travis, Aidan and Evan.
