With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glendale Norman Rupe of Wichita, Kansas, born in Canon City, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Glendale Norman departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Glendale Norman. Though Glendale Norman may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Rolly Rupe and Florence Rupe (Lammon); his former life partner Caroline Womer; and his siblings, Garland Rupe, Donald Rupe and Loretta Rankin (Rupe).
He is survived by : his wife Linda Lynn Talbott (Lippincott); his children, Randy Rupe of Eureka, Becca Dunne of Eureka and Tobin Rupe of Andover; and his half-brother Jim Rupe of Grand Junction, Colorado.. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Guadelupe Clinic.
