He was predeceased by: his parents, Milo Kaufman and Dorothy Kaufman; his wife Darlene; his children, James Phipps and Joyce Lawson; his brother Richard Kaufman; and his grandsons, Aaron and Austin Anderson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Yates (James) and Judy Edwards (Terry); and his grandchildren, Cherie Yarbrough (Chad), Angela Trant, Jennifer Yates, Patrick Trant (Dru), Jonathan Yates (Amanda), Jason Yates (Nicole), Joshua Yates, Jacob Yates, Jordan Yates, Colby Cahall and Jessica Klein.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (6231 W 47th St S, Wichita, KS 67215).
