With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Irene Mitchell in Wichita, Kansas, born in Caldwell, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 19, 2025 at the age of 74. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Falkenberg and Anna Pauline Falkenberg; her sister Ella Spoonmore; and her daughter Candice Suknot. She is survived by: her husband Brad Mitchell of Wellington, Kansas; her daughters, Heather Linder of Enid, Oklahoma, Amanda Suknot (Willie Phillips) and Aiyana Meeks (Jon) of Wichita, Kansas; her stepchildren, Geoi Davis (Larry Jackson, Jr.) and Drew Davis (Lee Anna) of Magnolia, Texas; her grandchildren, Zoe Scot, Jewels Farley, Kage Farley, Jacqueline Meeks, Benjamin Mohs and Evelynn Meeks; her great grandchild Amelia; and her brother Paul Falkenberg (Beth) of Caldwell, Kansas..
In keeping with Helen's devotion to children, her family asks that contributions be given to the Wellington Free Will Baptist Church.
