He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Henry Hill and Eulalah Vashito Starr; his sisters, Georgia May Hill, Virgie Hill Wilson, Cleo Hill Dowell and Marie Hill Fetters; and his pets, Scotty, Cuddles and Jitters.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Lea Evans Hill; his children, Diana Lynn Hill and Mark Alan Hill; his granddaughter Brandi Jo Hill Bennett (Clint); and his pet Georgette. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
