Janice raised four children, worked several jobs then retired from Boeing in 1993. After retirement she and husband Bob moved to Oak Creek, WI then later moved back to Wichita, KS to be with family. Janice was best known for keeping a schedule, quick-witted humor, fierce determination, no patience and a generous and loving spirit. She was very strong willed, always had good advice to give freely and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) S. Tatum; daughter, Linda Cowan; son, Gerald (Jerry) Tatum; parents, Theodore and Bernice Grasser; and sisters, Jean Devlin and Jeanette Bernier.

Janice is survived by daughter, Judy Whiley (Robert); son, James (Jim) Tatum; brother, Theodore Grasser; grandsons, Jay and Brian Whiley; granddaughter, Jill Velazquez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, 6231 W. 47th St. S., Wichita, KS 67215.
