Jean Rands Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Rands in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on October 1, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Warren and Hettie Warren (Kitchens); her husband Clifford Rands; and her siblings, Marvin Warren, Frances Robinson and William Warren.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Rivero of Wichita, KS, Pam Hedden (Jim) of Wichita, KS, Doug Rands (Kris) of Clemmons, NC and Debbie Martin (Daniel) of Alpharetta, GA; and her grandchildren, Richard Rivero (Rachael), Brian Hedden (Richelle), Mike Hedden (Laura), Joanna Koudele (Daren), Kyle Rands, Daniel Martin, Douglas Martin (Jessica), Jessica Johnson (Daniel) and Mike Martin. She is also survived by her 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cornejo Funeral Home & Crematory (1030 Mission Rd, Wellington, KS 67152). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Wellington Methodist Church (202 W Harvey Ave, Wellington, KS 67152).
Contributions can be given in her name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
