As Jerald departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jerald may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jerald leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Prewitt and W. Leo Gray of Wichita, KS.. He is survived by: his wife Velda Fresquez; his children, Heather Nelson (Ray) and Brian; and his grandson Trenton Nelson.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (1321 N Stratford St, Wichita, KS 67206). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
