He was predeceased by : his parents, Ira Johnston and Thelma Johnston. He is survived by : his wife Connie; his children, Tracy Dickinson (Richard), Karyn Parker (Mike), Patrick Johnston (Leslie) and Mark Johnston (Julie); his grandchildren, Matt Dickinson, Jessica Dickinson, Melanie Johnston, Audrey Johnston, Erica Johnston, Aaron Johnston, Cara Parker, Bethanie Parker, Kyle Parker, Emalee Parker, Zach Johnston, Sam Johnston (Amanda), Kaitlin Johnston and Makenna Johnston; and his great grandchildren, Adrina Parker, Gia Azzone and Anna Gonzales.

“Jerry was a true Christian man of God, who loved Connie and his family with all his heart. He was extremely intelligent, funny, hard working, did everything to perfection. I would always tell him how beautiful his blue eyes were. He loved people and we loved him and Connie with all our hearts. You and Frank hold a chair for us Jerry as we’ll see you again dear friend. Sending hugs, love and prayers to Connie and family. I was blessed to know Jerry, everyone was ♥️🙏🇺🇸.”
