With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Ellen Ryder (Wichita, Kansas), who passed away on August 3, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jo Ellen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jo Ellen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Parker and Ellen Parker (Miller). She is survived by: her husband Robert Ryder; her daughters, Brianna Cates and Sydney Cates; her brother Bruce; and her sister-in-law Barbara Parker.
