He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. and Mary L. Scripsick (Gamet); his wife Lottie V. Scripsick (Higdon) of Shawnee, Oklahoma.; and his sisters, Mildred d'Avignon and Dorothy Kongs.

He is survived by: his children, Mark Scripsick (Tammy) of Haslet, TX, Cathleen (Jim) of Parker, CO, Tom Scripsick (Debbie) of Derby, KS, Mike Scripsick (Paula) of Lafayette, NJ and Vince Scripsick (Brenda) of Wichita. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established with St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 3642 N. Ridge Road, Wichita, KS 67205.
