He was predeceased by: his parents, H. R. Barkett (Tony) and Grace Barkett. He is survived by: his children, Gregory Barkett and Abby Barkett; his sister Toni; his brother-in-law David Sadler; his close friend JoAnn Howell; his godfather Norman Farha; his aunts and uncles, Farris Farha and Gloria Farha Flentje Focht; his nephew Christopher Sadler; and his pet Spade.
