He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann Heinrich (Hank) and Daisy Ethel Wylie Oltmanns; his sons, Robert L. Oltmanns and Steven M. Oltmanns; and his siblings, Jean I. Silverstrand and Bob L. Oltmanns.
He is survived by: his wife Patrosinia Oltmanns; his children, Jerry Oltmanns (Cindy) of Wichita, KS, John Gregory Oltmanns (Diego Correa-Fernandes) of Chamblee, Georgia and Monica Oltmanns (Harold Fix) of Milford, Ohio; his sister Anna M. Storer of Moundridge, Kansas; his grandchildren, John C. Oltmanns (Robyn) and Candice M. Urban (Eric); and his great grandchildren, Addyson K. Oltmanns, Everett J. Urban, Ayden J. Oltmanns and Emerson J. Urban. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (861 N Socora St, Wichita, KS 67212). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
