J., Thurston and Scottie; and his siblings, Alice Cross, George Schaplowsky and Daniel Schaplowsky. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kiwanis Park Community Building (5101 West 2nd St N, Wichita, KS 67212).
In lieu of flowers or cards, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Joe's honor to the Kansas Humane Society or the Humane Society of the United States.
