Joshua Wayne Garrett Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joshua Wayne Garrett (Wichita, Kansas), who passed away on September 30, 2025 at the age of 40. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Eva Garrett and Leroy Chippeaux. He is survived by: his parents, Gary Garrett (Angie) and Debbie Chippeaux; his wife Lindsay Garrett; his children, Riley, Henry, Brody and Jackson Garrett; his sibling Kyle Smith; his children, Kolin, Cayden and Kayla Madrigal; his grandchildren, Aliyah, Aaron Jr. and Airalye; his daughter Lana Garrett; his grandchildren, Lane and Alivia; his grandmother Maxine Chippeaux; his parent-in-law Byron Fosnight (Karen); his sister-in-law Kaylie McClellan (Marcus); his sibling's children, Jaylen, Laikyn and Krystal Fosnight; and his brother-in-law Joel Fosnight. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Resthaven Mortuary (11800 US-54, Wichita, KS 67209). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the RidgePoint Church (8000 W 21st St N, Wichita, KS 67205). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Resthaven Gardens (11800 US-54, Wichita, KS 67209).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be payable to: The Garrett Sons Well Being Fund, and donations may be left in care of Resthaven Mortuary.
