She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Irving and Bertha Ammons; and her siblings, Kathryn Jackson, Hilda Davis, Ann Thomas, Vernon Ammons and Russell Irving Jr. Joy.
She is survived by: her husband LeVander Lee Hoy Jr.; her son Roy Ali Davis; her stepchildren, Marlon Hoy, David Hoy and Kimberly Chaney (Gregory); and her sisters, Barbara Jean Goff and Jackie Miller. She is also survived by her grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, and dear friends.
