It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Umscheid (Wichita, Kansas), who passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Klett and Virginia Klett; her husband Isidore Umscheid Jr. of Wichita, KS.; and also James Klett of Stow, Ohio.. She is survived by: her children, Greg Umscheid (Jo) of Topeka, KS, Jeff Umscheid (Paula) of Parksville, MO, Brad Umscheid of Andover, KS, Susan Williams (Stewart) of Spicewood, TX and Stacie Rediger (Mike) of Wichita, KS; and her grandchildren, Tim (Elizabeth), Justine (Kyle), Josh (Maura), Jake (Kim), Joe (Taylor), Austin (Halie), Quinn (Ariana), Brock (Chelsea), Ashley and Grant. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Church of the Magdalen Catholic Church (12626 E 21st St N, Wichita, KS 67206). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
