He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Rodriguez and Marie Aguilera (Gutierrez); his siblings, Gabriel, Ramon, Anthony Aguilera, Carmen and Consuelo Aguilera; his granddaughter Tessa Doyle; his great grandchild Kingston Aguilera; and his son-in-law George Vaughn.
He is survived by: his children, Angelina Lane (Steven) of Wichita, Irene Perez of Andover, Rita Aguilera Vaughn of Tennessee, Julius Aguilera, Jr. of Wichita and Linda Schmidt (Keith) of Andover; and his sister-in-law Stella Aguilera of Goddard. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Memorials have been established in Julius' name for the Kansas Veterans Home Memorial Fund, 1220 WWII Memorial Drive, Winfield, Kansas 67156 and Good Shepherd Hospice, 505 East 16th Street #1, Wellington, Kansas 67152.
