With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Katherine J Westmoland of Wichita, Kansas, born in Anthony, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Sarah Faith; and her son-in-law Tony Brown. She is survived by: her husband Ron Westmoland; her children, Laura Barkley, Barbie Schmidt, Richard Westmoland, Shane Westmoland, Holly Westmoland and Ron Westmoland Jr.; her mother Betty Rae Starks; her grandchildren, Jason, Casey, Zachary, Lenae, Leslie, Donovan, Emma, Melissa, Rick, Kaleb, Krystina, Zane, Michael, Beth, Matthew, Eric, Lena and Darius; and her brothers, David Starks, Mich Starks and Patrick Starks (Litha). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prairie Rose Funeral Home (602 E Main St, Anthony, KS 67003). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Anthony Church of Christ (118 E Washington St, Anthony, KS 67003).
