He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Jay Shaw and Marjorie Juanita Gooch; his son James J. Shaw; and his friend Irene. He is survived by: his wife Irene Shaw; his daughter Lisa Witt (Eric) of Wichita; and his grandsons, Stephen Witt (Erin) and Sean Witt (Amy).
