He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia Potter (Williams); his daughters, Hope Flask (Tim Flask) and Charity Chastain (Joshua Chastain); his sibling's children, Tawn Rockwell (Scott Rockwell), Jenny Potter and Grant Potter (Kelly Potter); his parents, Perry L. Potter and Shirley B. Potter (Trickett); and his brother Perry L. Potter. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
