He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth Edward Hendrix and Martha Hendrix (Hoefler); his sister Teresa Willis; his nephews, Waylon Willis and Landon Willis; and his grandson Cody Roberts.

He is survived by : his wife Betsy; his daughters, Liz Roberts (Brian), Erin Lawrence (John) and Emily McDonough (Mike); his brother Jay Hendrix (Linda); and his grandchildren, Braden Roberts, Kipton Roberts, Emmett Roberts, Cooper Lawrence, Ella Lawrence, Evelyn McDonough and Lainey McDonough.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in Kim's memory go to Central Community Church, 6100 West Maple Street, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
