He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Eklund and Marguerite Eklund. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Eklund of Olathe, Kansas; his children, Karen Eklund of Olathe and Brian Eklund (Jane) of Seattle, Washington; and his sister Sharon Harry of Topeka, Kansas.
