He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert LeRoy Knott and Edith LaVonne Knott (McCann); and his brother Ronnie Knott. He is survived by: his wife Gail Knott; his sons, Michael Fountain (Ginny) and Robert Knott; his sister Penny McAnulty (Todd); and his in-laws, Saundra Dunsworth, Steve Dunsworth and Rick Dunsworth (Patty). He is also survived by four nieces and two nephews.
