Larry Lee Martin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2026, at the age of 84, Larry Lee Martin in Wichita, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Peter Martin and Philomena Martin (Reichenberger); his grandfather Martin; and his siblings, Quintin Martin, Kenneth Bill Martin and Almeda Marx.
He is survived by: his wife Myra Martin of Hugoton; his children, Joseph P. Martin, Jeffrey D. Martin (Virginia) of Hugoton, Marsha K. Merrill (Todd) of Ogden, UT and Getana L. Ortiz (Balente "Bean") of Oklahoma City, OK; and his sister Lucille "Goldie" Andra (Ken) of Conway Springs, KS. He is also survived by grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Robson Funeral Home (314 S Van Buren St, Hugoton, KS 67951). A prayer was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the St. Helen Catholic Church (1011 S Jefferson St, Hugoton, KS 67951). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In honor of Larry's legacy, a memorial has been established for St. Helen Catholic Church in care of Robson Funeral Home, PO Box 236, Hugoton, Kansas 67951.
