He is survived by: his wife Mattie McCartney; his children, Chandra Asia (Shane), Crystal Fowler and Dexter McCartney; his siblings, Maxine Billingsley, Sandra Barnes, Deborah Rockett (Otha), Linda Baldtrip, Pamela Thompson (Keith), Rebekah Miller (Anthony), Phyllis Jones, Stephen McCartney (Connie) of Glen Carbon, IL and Philip "Bart" McCartney; his siblings-in-law, Opal Williams, Patty Moore (Claude) of Memphis, TN, Irene McCartney of Huntsville, AL, James Fowler (Dianne) of Peoria, IL and Kent Fowler (Sherry); and his grandchildren, Vincent Motte, Marques Fowler, Sydnei McCartney of Louisville, KY, Dexter Ahmad McCartney, Thylan Asia, Porsha Fowler-Carr, Brittany Ivory, Jamie Ross, Loni Fowler, Jaquoria Brewer and Khameelah Baptiste. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
