He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Vennum and Charles Vennum; his aunt Arlene; and his uncle Russ Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Sondra "Sunny" Vennum; his children, Dave Gilbert (Vicky) of Murrieta, Ron Gilbert of Wichita and Kristin Kienzle (Jeremy) of Wichita; and his grandchildren, Bert Merlo, Becky Black, Allison Harris, Darbin Tate, Mason Grimmett and Tanner Kienzle. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of three of Larry's grandchildren who live with cystic fibrosis.
