Larry touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Larry’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Whiteside and Helen Whiteside of Whiteside's Pla-Sure Place Resort; his wife Mary Whiteside; his children, Sarah Rehm (Dave), John Whiteside (Katie) and Anne Strandburg (Bryan); and his stepsons, Zachary Maze (Jessica) and Joshua Maze (Sara). He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial in his name may be designated to St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 3642 N. Ridge Road, Wichita, KS 67205.
