She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Barger and Mary Barger (Maricle); her husband Morris Wiant; her brothers, Harold, Harvey and Forrest Barger; her son Joseph "Lenny" Wiant; and her granddaughter Danielle Wiant.

She is survived by: her daughter Janice Wiant; her granddaughters, Jolene Wiant, Samantha Maricle and Abigail Wiant; and her great grandchildren, Michael Heaton and Margaret Heaton.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1750 North Tyler Road, Wichita, Kansas 67212.
