She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Barger and Mary Barger (Maricle); her husband Morris Wiant; her brothers, Harold, Harvey and Forrest Barger; her son Joseph "Lenny" Wiant; and her granddaughter Danielle Wiant.
She is survived by: her daughter Janice Wiant; her granddaughters, Jolene Wiant, Samantha Maricle and Abigail Wiant; and her great grandchildren, Michael Heaton and Margaret Heaton.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Resthaven Gardens of Memory (11800 US-54, Wichita, KS 67209). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Covenant Presbyterian Church (1750 N Tyler Rd, Wichita, KS 67212).
