Leonard Rains Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leonard Rains (Wichita, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Leonard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Leonard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Rains and Louella Rains; his wife Judy Rains; and his sisters, Betty Jones and Joyce Stillwell.
He is survived by: his children, Chad Rains of Lexington, SC, Kim Roth of Canon City, CO and Cody Vance of San Antonio, TX; his sibling's children, Becky Dugger, Steve Jones and Kellie Wells; and his friend Bob Sage (Dawn). He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery - Oatville (6231 W 47th St S, Wichita, KS 67215).
