Leta Dean Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 14, 2025, at the age of 95, Leta Dean in Wichita, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Raymond (Ray) and Leta Bertna Dietz (Vilott); and her husband Robert "Bob" Dean. She is survived by: her sons, Jack Dorwin Dean of Mankato and Randy Ray Dean (Rebecca) of Mankato; her grandsons, Trenton Dorwin Dean and Brady Ray Dean (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Briley Rae Dean and Brantley Ray Dean; her granddaughter Samantha Rae Gill (Jeremy); her great grandchild Henry Mason Gill; her grandson Robert Randy Dean (Lindsey); her great grandchild Kash Robert Dean; and her stepgrandsons, Shane Britt and Noah Williams.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Melby Mortuary (402 N High St, Mankato, KS 66956). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery (1586 150th Rd, Mankato, KS 66956).
