She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan Uhrich and Lois Uhrich; and her husband Gary Ast. She is survived by: her children, John Ast Jr. (Natali) of Wichita, Amy Lee (Albert) of Leonardville and Kristen Larcade (Darold) of Belle Plaine; and her sisters, Vicki Macon (Mike), Cathy Stratton (Gary), Renee Horner (Phil) and LaRee Uhrich. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Woodridge Christian Church, 12111 E 13th St N, Wichita, KS 67206.
