We announce the death of Linda Lee Henander (Wichita, Kansas), who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 83. Linda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Linda’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Cowan and Fern Cowan; her husband Robert Newson; and her sister Gayle Noles. She is survived by: her children, LaDawn Holmes (Lyle), Roxie Sperry (Tim), Joyce Peterson and Sam Watts; and her siblings, Alice Hyatt (Bill) and Irvin Cowan (Renate). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
