She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Collins and Meldra Collins; and her grandsons, Devante Dawson, Dashea Dawson and Daveon Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Tara S. Dawson of Kansas City and Ronald P. Dawson, Jr. of Wichita, Kansas; her husband Billy Walker; her children, Billy Walker, II of Wichita, Kansas, LaTasha Nicholson (Eugene) of Wichita and Lynne A. D. Walker of Dallas, Texas; and her siblings, Vanessa Richards (Jimmy) of Wichita, Angela Sanders (Larry) of Wichita and Anthony Collins (Eunice) of Chicago, Illinois. She is also survived by her sixteen grandchildren; her twelve great-grandchildren; along with her aunts, uncles, and a host of relatives and friends.
