She was predeceased by: her husband Edward George Sommers; her parents, Frank Vetter and Mary Vetter; and her sister Barbara O'Sullivan. She is survived by: her children, Mary Grant (Steve) of Lawrence, KS, Steve Sommers (Ruth) of Sheridan, WY, John Sommers (Jane) of McPherson, KS and Matthew Sommers (Mary) of Red Lodge, MT; her grandchildren, Pete Grant (Keri), Amanda Esch (Orion), Josh Grant (Elle), Luke Sommers (Sarah), Ben Sommers (Shanna), Rachael Warner (Dustin), Bart Sommers (Brianna), Doug Sommers (Hanna), Sam Sommers and Sarah; and her great grandchildren, Maisy, Owen Grant, Grant, Hazel Lorraine Esch, Louise Grant, Abigail, Levi Sommers, Brenna, Valerie, Kenzie Sommers, Laila, Olivia, Hallee Warner, Kiera, Eve, Leonides, Cecilia Sommers, Emma and Ava Sommers. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established with: Good Shepherd Hospice, 7829 E. Rockhill St. #403, Wichita, KS 67206. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Lorraine F. Sommers 's name.
