He was predeceased by: his parents, Granville Edmonston and Violet Edmonston; and his wife Connie McCart. He is survived by: his daughters, Daina Bailey (Todd) of Wichita, Jamie Giffin (Jerrod) of Sedgwick and Mindy Edmonston of Wichita; and his grandchildren, Gage, Cooper, Regan, Brody and Carly.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lillian Tear Library in Sedgwick and left in care of Petersen Family Funeral Home.
