Lucy Cook Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucy Cook (Wichita, Kansas), who passed away on February 7, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Freda Needham and Lester Needham; and her brothers, Sam and Steve. She is survived by: her sons, Dolan (Jessica) of Elgin, IL and Don (Kelly) of Gilbert, AZ; her grandchildren, Gabe Cook (Sophie) of Goddard, KS, Grant Cook of Gilbert, AZ, Aubrey Farris (Garrett) of Derby, KS, Reed Cook (Caitlyn) of Gilbert, AZ and Morgan Soria (Jake) of Wichita; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Tripp, Oakleigh, Hailen, Donnie, Kollyns and Ronnie; her sister Cathy Hoffman of Arlington, TX; and her siblings-in-law, Dennis and Bev Cook of Wichita. She is also survived by nieces and nephews she loved.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Community Church in Wichita, where Lucy found her spiritual home under the ministry of Pastor Bob Beckler.
